Project

Nutricia Souvenaid

Nutricia's Souvenaid is a medical nutrition product designed to support memory function in individuals with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) and early Alzheimer's disease.

UI Design

The goal was to design the Spanish website to enhance user engagement, provide clear information, and facilitate product accessibility.

Color Palette

We chose a color palette that echoes the colors of the products and the brand - pale greens and intense purples - to evoke visual coherence and a sense of clarity and confidence.

Typography

  • Primary font: A sans-serif typeface chosen for clarity and legibility across all screen sizes.

  • Emphasis was placed on large font sizes and clear hierarchy to ensure readability for elderly users.

Imagery

  • Used human-centered photography, focusing on daily life moments (e.g., family, independence, care).

  • Images were selected to reflect warmth and positivity without feeling clinical.

UI Components

  • Designed a modular system: info cards, product highlights, CTA banners, FAQ accordions.

  • Integrated icons and infographics to simplify complex information on brain health and nutrition.

  • Applied consistent spacing, rounded corners, and soft shadows to convey a friendly and non-intimidating interface.

Accessibility & Responsiveness

  • Designed with WCAG contrast standards in mind for accessibility.

  • Created a fully responsive UI kit optimized for mobile browsing, considering a caregiver demographic often accessing health info on-the-go.

This UI design project for Souvenaid focused on clarity, care, and calmness—transforming a medically technical product into a visually inviting and emotionally accessible online experience. It demonstrates how thoughtful visual design can support health communication and empower users through better design.
