GSK 

GSK, a global pharmaceutical leader, needed a landing page to promote awareness and education around a specific treatment (Rotarix).

UI design

The goal was to design a clear, visually engaging interface that supports healthcare messaging while remaining accessible and trustworthy for both patients and medical professionals.

​

Visual Direction

  • Developed a clean, modern medical interface with a white and orange palette inspired by GSK’s branding.

  • Prioritized whitespace, structured typography, and calm color contrasts to reduce visual overload.

 

Layout & Hierarchy

  • Built the page with a modular layout, separating key content into digestible blocks:

  • Applied a clear content hierarchy using headings, icons, and illustrations to guide the reader.

 

Custom UI Elements

  • Designed bespoke icons and pictograms to visually summarize medical information.

  • Included soft scroll-triggered transitions to enhance the reading flow without distraction.

Responsive & Accessible Design

  • Ensured a mobile-first approach, with touch-optimized interactions and large text.

  • Checked for WCAG-compliant color contrasts and text legibility across all devices.

Conclusion

This project illustrates how UI design can translate scientific content into a clear, trustworthy digital experience. Working with GSK reinforced the importance of precision, simplicity, and emotional reassurance when designing for health communications. The result: a landing page that’s informative, credible, and user-friendly.
